Public Transport Simulator - vehicle review

This is an archive and will remain as such. (I don't play the game anymore etc...)

I would like to state this is opinion based first, as everyone have their own views.

I will rate the vehicles in numbers and state why they are in that place. There may be more than one vehicle per slot.

Link to the game can be seen here. (Note: This is a mobile game)

BUSES

1. [Tecnobus] Gulliver:
A speed devil which sets off really quick, quickest bus in the game and on par with Solo for the fastest. Bad side of this vehicle is, kickdown does not sound nice. The fact this bus type has a completely different sound pack differentiates it and other vehicles.
Rating: 5/5

2. [Optare] Solo:
This is bus is on par with the Gulliver for achieving top speed of 120kmh/75mph. What lets this vehicle down is the poor steering wheel in comparison to the Gulliver. This bus also offers my favourite kickdown noise too.
Rating: 5/5

3. Ford Transit:
This comes in tie with Optare Solo for me because they are very similar, poor steering wheel, but it's more easier to control despite not so good steering wheel. It has the 'solo' feel to it making it more of a child's play of a drive (or in simple terms, delivering a peaceful journey).
Rating: 4/5*

4. Mercedes Sprinter:
This vehicle is very similar to the Ford Transit but is more 'strict' and 'loose'. By that I mean difficult to control and worse steering wheel. But I'm being generous for it's design, oterwise it'd fall to 3rd or 4th place.
Rating: 4/5

5. Citron (Mercedes-Benz Citaro Euro 6) & Urbano (Solaris Urbino)
Their styles put them in third place for me, completely disacknowledging their performance of power or speed. The thing that lets it down is their lack of quick acceleration which can be excused.
Rating: 4/5

This is where stuff start to end up at a cliff.

6. Borismaster / Enviro[400] / Gemini [1]:
These buses all have the same sound, similar gear change and are as slow as a real life Borismaster when accelerating. Which is shameful for the Enviro and Gemini. It's very easy to have a car pass you at high speed in a map like the Country map where there can be dual lanes around. I am not too familiar with either the Gemini or Enviro to make a proper decision but there you have it.
Rating: 3/5

7. Seter (Setra S319NF)
This bus is likeable for it's nice old style fashion, comparable to the Citaro O530ÜL which is also 15m, but has a door layout similar to this. The biggest drawback of this bus, is, surprisingly a speed limitation to 50kmh. Otherwise known as 30mph. Handling of the bus is very great, much like the Gulliver where the turning circle doesn't restrict as you go faster. Decent startup acceleration like the other full size single deck models in the game, and the same sound too! Sadly the game doesn't include rear steering but nevertheless okay.
Ratings: 3/5

8. CiaoMega, Sos (Setra SG321UL):
These vehicles are the slowest in the game but can be excused for being bendies and heavy of course. You wouldn't expect a bendy bus to roll off as quick as the Gulliver would you? Unless they were a Citaro, then no. What lets the Ciao down is the very sensitive reaction to the speed bumps, similar to the Gulliver but far more reactive. The Mega in my opinion is one of the best looking vehicles in the game overall. Their overall performance put them in a lower place. Meanwhile, the 'Sos' which is actually the Setra SG321UL is quiet like the other two bendies, however has better minorly better acceleration, looks decently old fashioned (as it is a 1990s model). But has a ludicrous 5 doors.
Rating: 2 (Ciao/Sos) / 3 (Mega) out of 5

* - Reason for this is it is a small vehicle :P
