Withdrawn ADL Enviro400s

Surprisingly, the first Enviro400 batch to be withdrawn not from a company buyout is 344's batch of 09-reg 9467-86. The first to be withdrawn would be First's owned batch as you'll read below. Withdrawn Enviro400s will be listed in order of timeline of withdrawal.
This list also contains possibly withdrawn MMCs but don't bet on it.

Dagenham (DM). All there is to say. Actually no, anyway they [First] left and surrendered [Dagenham] in 2013, closing the garage and losing the routes to Stagecoach. This being the last ember of First following the buyout by Tower Transit and Metroline. Funny enough a depot in Dagenham First surrendered after confirming it can't take articulated single deckers for route 25 which they lost, only for Stagecoach to buy the very depot they left. Regardless, the buses left mostly for First Leicester before moving to Bristol in exchange for B7RLEs. Though that's only 12 out of the 29 Enviro400s.

Abellio London 9467-9486 & 9487-9504:
9485 LJ09OKU
Elephant & Castle
These were the first Euro 5 rated Enviro400s for London and came out as 09-reg, all others from 59-reg and upwards (this batch was registered prior to the 09-reg deadline). Travel London ordered these for the contract renewal of 344 and 156 respectively which also displaced 9774-9811 for withdrawal. Anyways, 9467-9486 were sold on Ensign and finally (as of November 2016) there's customers.
The remaining 9487-9504 survived past 156's retention with hybrids, being reallocated to 345 (in turn withdrawing older ex-35/40 09-reg) until more hybrids were freed by June 2022 which saw the end of these 09-reg.

Tower Transit DN33776-87 & DNH39112-125:
David McKay
DN33787 SN12EHC, St Paul's Cathedral
Diesel Enviro400s ordered for the 23 alongside Hybrid Enviro400Hs back in 2012 mid-contract. Reason being that this route was First's flagship route, and as a result this route has seen many new buses ordered for it, with it's existing ones cascaded elsewhere. First mucked up the fleetnumbers by applying DNH (the hybrid code) to the diesel DNs and vice versa, though this issue was fixed, not a first time as A10's DMLs were coded 'DM' for a while.
First gave up their London operations in 2013 and Tower Transit, Metroline and Go-Ahead each received their portions of the deal. The 23 and Westbourne Park (X) fell into Tower Transit's hands.

These buses were even refurbished midway-contract, however, the route was cut short from Liverpool Street to Aldwych, which released some buses. As a result, these E400s were handpicked for their life outside of London, and are (as of December 2017) on sale at Ensign.
As of February 2021, the remaining 783-786 have started to be withdrawn with more OEs coming in for 23.
In April 2021 four DNHs were withdrawn too.

Go-Ahead London E1-39:

E34 (LX06ECT) & E15 (SN06BOF)
Routes 37 & 196.
Herne Hill Station.
With the loss of 196 and retain of the 37, these first Euro4 examples for London have met their life limit for London and need to continue on, E17 of the E16-37 batch (for 37) has been in a collision and will be stripped for salvageable parts and then scrapped. E1-15 started their life at Stockwell (SW) and ended their TfL career there, all but one. E16-37 were for route 37 and likewise didn't move elsewhere. E38-39 conveniently arrived during the renumbering of 77A into the freed number 87, formerly Barking to Romford. In any case the new 87 incorporated an extra so bus in the new schedule. Stockwell (SW)'s lot were refurbished in 2011 and retained the grey skirt and were the only other batch to be refurbished with the skirt of similar age (315's LDPs, 68-group's WVLs). Whereas 37's batch was refurbished upon contract renewal in 2013.
09/2021 update: E1 and E2 withdrawn, replaced by E281 and E282. E2 haing been deroofed on 24 and going trough 7 engines in it's life has finally let the towel down.

Abellio London 9546-9558 & 2438-2443:

9549 (SN12AOW)
Elephant & Castle
Brand new in June in the year of the Olympics, 2012, for route 211's contract renewal. The new contract entailed partial hybrids and partial diesel allocations. 2438-43 fit the hybrid E40H bill. The rest was these diesel E40Ds. 211 kept these Enviro400s consistently until TfL announced this route to be their next New Routemaster operated route, this happened to conveniently be in June 2016, 4 years after the delivery of the Enviro400s. Regardless, these E40Ds were sent to Walworth (WL) displacing the infamous Trident ALX400s the 172 had, new to Armchair and brought via a lessor. Some B7TLs were also reduced in number as a result. Later, the 172/343 were lost which meant these Enviros became redundant. These were fairly bog standard (from my experience at least) but were alive and well, in terms of condition. These spent their last days on 172 before the cull.

9546-9558 have the Euro 5 Cummins ISB6.7EV engine at 250hp in addition to the ZF Ecolife 6AP1200 6-speed gearbox. 10.2m standard length E40Ds.
2438-2443 have the Euro 5 Cummins ISB4.5EV engine at 180hp, powering the batteries and BAE HybriDrive system (260hp motor) to a Voith driveline. 10.2m standard length E40Hs.

Eight of these have been acquired by Go-Ahead to cover the buses lost by the Orpington garage arson. EN41-48.

Go-Ahead London E272 (SN62DKJ):

From what I've read this alongside it's other 62-reg brethren from New Cross (NX) were intended for retained 486 at Bexleyheath (BX) and possibly off for a refurb, but this caught severe fire on the M11 between junction 8 for Stansted Airport and junction 9 for Saffron Walden, northbound. Thus this bus is a write-off, with nothing left of it but ash.
This had the Euro 5 Cummins ISB6.7EV engine at 250hp in addition to the ZF Ecolife 6AP1200 6-speed gearbox. 10.2m standard length E40D.

Tower Transit DN33612-33655:

New around April 2011 in conjunction with Stagecoach's loss of routes 26 and 30 from Bow (BW) to First Capital's Lea Interchange (LI) also coded as HO, for Hackney Olympic. Still, with 30's loss to Metroline, these young Euro V, Cummins ISB6.7EV (with 250hp output) engine with a ZF Ecolife gearbox, were deemed unsuitable in the fleet. Some have been acquired by Go-Ahead as EN28-40 for the uptake of the Woolwich-Orpington 51 from Stagecoach in December 2018. Barring some of the ones destroyed in the fire. DN33638-55 were reallocated to 69 following HCT's win of route 26 in 2016. Go-Ahead then gained the 69 thus allowing these DNs to also be free come 2021.

Metroline TE665-692:
These very first ADL Enviro400s were ordered for 24 I believe, though it's prestige relinquished years later as Go-Ahead claimed it. Anyways, these are literally Trident/ALX400s but with the Enviro400 body. Despite being quite old at this age they've outlasted the likes of even 6 year olds, these LK55/06-plates being up to 13 years of age. Regardless, their time to stand down has come near.
These have a Euro 4 emission standard Cummins ISBe6.7 engine at 250hp, coupled to a 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

Arriva London South T154 (LJ60AWC)
This bus was involved in a terrible crash in West Croydon on 11 November 2018, (shortly after an engine fire was resolved) after extensive checks it was deemed to be scrapped. As part of the batch T145-168, it was new to Lea Valley (LV) for the gain of route 341 from First. Upon closure of the garage the route and buses moved to Tottenham (AR) until shortly after the 64 was announced as a gain for Arriva London South. The entire batch eventually made it at Thornton Heath (TH), the 341 gaining VDL DB300s as the interim allocation. Some of the 60-reg Ts went to Norwood (N) as a stop-gap, T162 to Dartford (DT), or directly to Thornton Heath (TH). The batch have the Cummins ISB6.7EV engine at 250hp in addition to the ZF Ecolife 6HP1203 6-speed gearbox. 10.2m standard length E40Ds.
Update: Deemed scrapped as of 04/2019. Scrapped 04/2021.

Abellio London 9401-9427
9408 (LJ56VTK), Vauxhall
Bought by Travel London as ED1-27. These, for the most part, were intended new to Battersea (QB) for brand new route 452 (Wandsworth Road to Kensal Rise) and as top-ups for retain of 3/N3 at Beddington Cross (BC). Though it was much simpler to not introduce a new type at Beddington Cross (BC) and instead send an already ostracized type in Battersea (QB), V70-73. Or better known as 9070-73, 4 B7TL Geminis. The type would be a mainstay for an upcoming retained 157 but alas.
The 344 and 452 continued with the type, especially 452 when it was lost in December 2018 to Tower Transit, at which point 2 years since 344 surrendered diesels as an allocation. Since then the Enviro400s have covered Rail Replacement and directly/indirectly for other causes, such as transfers to West or covering for 9487/8 at Beddington Cross (BC) for PVR increases.
That said, most of them received a refurbishment mid-life whereas some have not, the ones that have been refurbished would've been part of 452's retain in 2011. In any case, with 452's loss most of these served as rail fleet for Abellio's rail replacement whims.
These have a Euro 4 emission standard Cummins ISBe6.7 engine at 250hp, coupled to a 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

Stagecoach Selkent 19131-40:
These are the only 10.8m Enviro400s London has had as a batch, to the same operator who received the first ever Enviro400 which was also 10.8m, originally coded 18500 as the 1500th Trident, was the Spirit of London now with the number of 19000 and allocated to Rainham (RM). 19131-40 being the first and last Enviro400s under Stagecoach prior to East London Bus Group (ELBG)'s surfacing. Allocated to Bromley (TB) to route 61. These lived happily ever after until their withdrawal in December 2018 with the retain of 61/261, the 261 gaining a handful of new E40D 'smart hybrids' with the 61 gaining most of 261's existing 63-reg Euro5 E40Ds.
These were Euro 4 with the Cummins ISBe6.7 (250hp) coupled to the 4-speed Voith DIWA864.3E.

Fun fact: 19131/2 had a number clash with Worksop's (East Midlands) 19131/2 (FJ07OSY/Z), now 19317/8

Metroline TE712-723 & 724-38:
These were ordered against routes 4 and 186 as part of a larger batch, TE712-38, in whatever case the LK56-reg have been allocated to the 186 later down the line with the withdrawal of the acknowledged and praised long President bodied B7TLs (VPL). Case in point, the route that was allocated the new TEs all to itself was the smug and century plus year old route which barely saw changes in it's routeing. It's what you get when you multiply the 4 with the amount of times it saw neglect. The 24, Pimlico via Trafalgar Square to Hampstead Heath. Regardless, the 186, back in 2006, was the last route to be allocated large low-floor single deckers new in 1993/4 as a test to see if these were fit for their routes. Of the five routes chosen, one being 186, used Dennis Lance SLF chassis'd Wright bodied buses, Pathfinder. The route finally converted using cascaded VPLs by the time the new 56/07-plate Enviro400s came into existence with TE843-847 diverted from 332/632. At least it rightfully had them returned to 186 in 2012, can't say the same to the poor four. The 186 was finally relieved of these buses with it's shocking transfer to Harrow Weald (HD) with, here's the shock factor, Volvo B9TLs. The shock would've been extra if it stayed in Edgware (EW) but it needed to make space for 292, which too had it's own B9TLs allocated to it with the loss of 79.
These have a Euro 4 emission standard Cummins ISBe6.7 engine at 250hp, coupled to a 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

The first batch of ZF-gearbox Enviro400's in Go-Ahead's fleet, at London Central operated from Bexleyheath (BX) for the retain of route 486, converted from sole single decker Volvo B7L VWL1 and DB220 East Lancs Myllennium's (some powered by Liquid Petroleum Gas).
Over time the E400s were refurbished and on 486's 4th contract award the allocation finally changed, to existing deckers, B9TLs from the loss of the 20.

Metroline TE881-890 & TE891-914 & more:
TE838 LK57AXT, Edgware

I believe these (TE881-90) were new to route 297 which had it's contract renewed in December 2008, just 5 months before these new Enviro400s arrived, which they duly serviced Perivale (PV) and Perivale West (PA)'s 297. That is, if trials comparing the hybrid variants TEHs didn't happen. Thus Cricklewood (W) stole TE878 upwards for the 16 in evaluation against TEH915-919. Some confusion until 297's allocation changed to East Lancs bodied Scania N230UDs, presumably when 7/N7 upgraded to the Wright Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs. Regardless, these made haste to Potters Bar (PB) and made their mainstay on the 82 until it was lost to Tower Transit as the 13. The 134 transferred in from Holloway (HT) to retain workforce up in Hertfordshire where the depot is located.
As an afterthought I added the rest of the 8xx TEs, 828-880.
   Extra afterthought, the LK58 TEs.
Third afterthought, TE976-992 new to Brentford (AH) but moved to Cricklewood (W) and mostly spent the remainder at Edgware (EW) or Potters Bar (PB).
These have a Euro 4 emission standard Cummins ISBe6.7 engine at 250hp, coupled to a 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

10201 (SL64HZA)
New Cross
Stagecoach 10199-10205:
New in 2014 for route 136's extension from Peckham to Elephant & Castle. Stagecoach did use older ALX400s in the interim but contractually the 136 was allocated Euro 5 diesels (brand new at the time) and with Low Emission Zones coming, Euro 2 vehicles wouldn't last without upgrades. So the smart choice was to fork out the money for 6 so brand new Euro 6 vehicles, the last diesels (without fancy capacitors) on the classic body until Arriva cheaped out the year later.
Eventually the 136 was retained and the Ultra Low Emission Zone didn't allow for Euro 6 diesels on TfL contracted services unless they have said fancy capacitor because it makes them hybrid. So, these Enviro400s of young age were banished to the nether realm of Rainham (RM) where they spent their days aiding the fleet in East until their lease came to an end.

Note: 10197/8 were part of the allocation too but only 199-205 got sent off.
Pretty much as soon as they were sent off-lease Go-Ahead picked them up for their tendered wins in Cornwall, under what I assume is the Plymouth Citybus operation license but nonetheless, pastures anew.
These harbour the Euro 6 Cummins ISB6.7E6 engine at 250hp in addition to the Voith DIWA854.6?. 10.2m standard length E40Ds.

Arriva London T1-65 & Arriva the Shires T199:
T20 (LJ08CVR), Thornton Heath

I've been late to this since some have been withdrawn with 102's upgrade to hybrids but anyways.
T1-11 new to Palmers Green (AD) for the 102 with T12-26 to Barking (DX) for new route 135 spanning Crossharbour to Old Street Station. T27-43 again for Palmers Green (AD) for the 102. ADL did have a lot of orders making the Ts late, so 135 was prioritised, splitting 102's numbering sequence.
In any case, since 135 was lost to Go-Ahead, 198 took up T12-26 at Thornton Heath (TH), which have now been withdrawn in favour of 102's own T1-11 which have been upgraded to Euro6 whilst the ex-135 198 Ts have not. This will allow 198 to fulfil it's contract beyond September.
As for T44-65, they went to Croydon (TC) for 466 as part of the new/existing tender for 466, though becoming entirely T-operated as a result of Ts not being allocated to anything else. As of October 2020 some of 466's Ts have moved into Dartford (DT).
Some of the Ts have been converted to trainers and at one point the trainer fleet will comprise of Enviro400s, replacing the elderly DLAs lingering on for life.

These were Euro 4 with the Cummins ISBe6.7 (250hp) coupled to the 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

T199 SN08AAE, Barry Road

After 2016 the bus transferred to Arriva London along with Garston (GR) thereby adopting the fleetnumber T199. Upon loss of 142/642 in 2018, it left for Croydon (TC) then to Barking (DX) for a while, moving back to TC then back to DX, settling at TC for the 612 until it's withdrawal in February 2022.

Quality Line DD01-10:
Matt Davis
DD09 SK07DZJ, Epsom Clock Tower
RATP's ADE40293-40302, were ordered for routes 406/418 in 2007 following their new contract award to Quality Line whom gained the routes from London United. With that, both received double decker conversions and a slight increase on Sundays, if at least only with vehicle count. Nevertheless, these were the only other non-Stagecoach Voith Enviro400s alongside Go-Ahead's E1-39, not even counting the newer 11-reg versions for 467 which were also Voith.
These ten buses served both 406/418 until the very end of their lives in Epsom (EB) where 406/418 finally received their promised vehicle upgrade in the form of Scanias, with a caveat... a transfer to Tolworth (TV) to lump in with route 71, and oh wait they're not Scanias it's Volvo B5LHs. I'm slightly confused with RATP but hey ho. On top of that, the Euro5 Euro6 'DDs' transferred with them, namely the native-Euro6 SL14-reg, sole YX61-reg and one of two SN11-reg ex-467.

These were Euro 4 with the Cummins ISBe6.7 engine at 250hp with the 4-speed Voith DIWA864.3E.

First Capital DN33527-543
Go-Ahead London EN1-17:
Note: This sub-batch is prior to Dagenham (DM)'s DN33544-572.
For the 191 with it's PVR of 15 by First Capital for their successful retain, allowing the previous allocation of TNs to do other things. Northumberland Park (NP)'s sold to Go-Ahead during it's contract, though didn't stop it's interesting aspect as the first ENs in the Go-Ahead fleet thus far. They do share parallels to 196's being the first Es, both being good performing batches, went through rough patches, and left to the commercial fleet in matches. Some have been utilised as school extras primarly in South for Merton (AL)'s 152 and Orpington (MB) for 353/654/684, as well as Bexleyheath (BX).

These were Euro 4 with the Cummins ISBe6.7 (250hp) coupled to a 6-speed ZF Ecomat 6HP504? (Some SN58s for First do so err)

Go-Ahead London E57, E58-60, E61 and E62-93:

E57: Ordered as a top-up for route 196 to increase it's reliability with a PVR increase of +1 which improved service. Registered March 2007. Transferred with E62-93 to Merton (AL) for route 200's double deck allocation (one of two). Withdrawn February 2021.

E58-60: New to Sutton (A) registered in June 2007 for route 213 as top-ups to go with it's predominantly PVL allocation brought from Bexleyheath (BX) given smartblind treatment. Later in 2016 these would be swapped with rare B9TL Enviro400s VE1-3 which made E58-60 leave for Camberwell (Q) briefly as routes 57 and 213's allocations were to be confirmed as route 85 was lost in the tender award. Eventually these three would settle at Metrobus Orpington (MB) replacing Scanias thus allocated to routes 320/353 until withdrawn in November 2021 replaced by hybrids transferred within the company from frequency reductions.

E61: This too was new for Sutton (A) also in June 2007 but very quickly transferred to Peckham (PM) as the defacto extra bus for 63 but in reality that role was given to E35 which was never refurbished, thus E61 was for route 37. This would join E62-93 to Merton (AL) and spend the rest of it's days there. It transferred to Stockwell (SW) in November 2020 and moved back to AL in February 2022. Transferred to home Sutton (A) in September 2022 replacing DOE16 which was stripped for spare parts.

E62-93:
E83 LX57CKO,
Vauxhall Bus Station
This large batch of 32 vehicles was for Go-Ahead's triumphant win of Metroline's 24, although won in 2008 was lost on that very term back to Metroline in 2013. Thus all of these Enviro400s moved to Merton (AL) for 44/77 with some surplus needed for 77 in the form of brand new E277-280. After routes 44 and 77 (77 moved to Stockwell [SW] but with PVLs and E277-280) were retained with hybrids and 270 who gained the 57reg as an allocation was lost to Abellio, moved to replace Scanias in Metrobus' division and ex-Metrobus Scanias in East at Blue Triangle Rainham [BE] (and thus, River Road [RR]). Thus the school routes where the patrons of these, and route 320.
Thus E79-92 were withdrawn to become the trainers with E79-86 receiving nice paintjobs whilst the rest...didn't. Followed later on in the year of 2021 as more hybrids were released from cuts to central London routes saw E67 and E68 both Vehicle Off Road disappear but most of E64-76 somewhat in service with some not.

These were Euro 4 with the Cummins ISBe6.7 (250hp) coupled to a 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

Arriva London North T75 (LJ59ABN)
Decommissioned, thus stripped for spare parts and scrapped after an accident in August by Dagenham Asda. Chassis damage as a result.
Might as well say it's prayers for it, New to Clapton (CT) as part of T66-83 for the huge 70+ bus order to double deck the 38 from articulated single decks (Citaro Gs). The Ts relocated to double deck 78 until 2016 when with Crossrail supposedly in the near future the 173 was double decked upon renewal, though contractually single deck. It's brethren T66/7 allocated at Croydon (TC) for 612 and T82/3 at Norwood (N) on-paper for 690, leaving T71-81 (except T75) double deck the 428 whilst T68-70 and T199 join T66/7.

The prequel for mass electrics in London now and in the future, the technology that predated for decades returned but combined with the well-proven diesel engine in order to cut emissions. In the name of emissions you'd be given a Green grant of sots so the Green Bus funds into TfL distributed the resources. Five to Stockwell (SW) for 24 but in practice 196/333. Five to Cricklewood (W) for 16 eventually making forays to everything. Two to Hounslow Heath (HH) for er, Heathrow's 482. Didn't last long as they became a Central route's fodder later instead.
They've all died as they lasted a contract after the fact, with the first to leave not being London United's lot in February time 2019. Preceded by GAL's ones after retaining 87 with newer MMCs alongside existing 13-reg. Whilst Metroline's only ones left to populate the 210 made a staggered leave throughout 2019-2020 time.
These were Euro 4 with the Cummins ISBe4.5 (180hp) powering the batteries used by the BAE HybriDrive system (a 260hp electric motor) using a Voith driveline.

Abellio London 9428-9466 & 9505-9523:
9517 SN59AVH
Marble Arch/Edgware Road
With the loss of routes E1 and E9, these loa
ned Enviro400s were replaced earlier than the allocated route's loss to Tower Transit, yes, the 414, E1's SK14s slotting in temporarily as part of 414's allocation until eventually replacing the 09eg (9448-9466) on route 345/414 too.
9428-9466: The last Euro 4s ordered, were for routes 40 and 35 respectively, at Walworth (WL) and Battersea (QB) at the time though 35 moved later to join the 40.
9505-9523: were the first gold-ad frames for Abellio for a route that didn't enter the Congestion Charge zone but still in Zone 1 nonetheless much like the 344. Mechanically compared to the other Enviro400s in the fleet they didn't fare as well over time as eventually they became a shadow of their former selves.

Metroline TE1073-1104:
New between October 2010 and January 2011 to Cricklewood (W) along with TEH1105-14 a year after 16 and 189's renewals, but in coinciding time for 210's renewal in September. In practice the TEHs were for 16 and being the prestigious route at head office it is, wouldn'e be surprising if the TEs were for it too. Come 2015 when 332 should've been the first route with E400MMCs, these shifted around the company, dispersing to practically every corner in the empire.

Arriva London South T84-117:
T92 LJ59LZN, Streatham

New leased Enviro400s for route 133 at Norwood (N), registered between December 2009 and February 2010. Seven years later with the win of 157 these Enviro400s were reallocated to the 157 and were also intended to transfer to Wood Green (WN) for 221 but stayed at Norwood (N) in exchange for the transfer of 17's allocation of DB300s which were the minority in the depot to begin with. Thus until October 2021 all of T84-117 lived happily ever after until 160's loss which allowed the free T288-300 to form the third allocation of 417's 2016 contract, allowing T84-97 to go off-lease.
T85 was reregistered 385CLT and T93 reregistered 593CLT, they lost the registrations to HV385/393 when the E400s were sent off-lease.
T92 and T111 have been VOR, in end of August and mid-September respectively.

Stagecoach 12283 (SN14TXB) & 12321 (SK14CSZ) & 12372 (YX16OGL) & 12394 (YX16OHK)
12283 was a classic E400H new to Selkent's Catford (TL) for routes 54/75 as part of 12261-292 initially intended for Plumstead (PD) for 53 but the 53 instead received London's first B5LH Gemini 3's. Upon 54/75's retains the E40Hs left to their intended home of Plumstead (PD) displacing diesels where needed elsewhere, thus the 96 found itself as the home for some.

12321 was a classic E400H new to East London's Bow (BW) for the 205/N205. It burnt whilst on N205 in the morning on 27/01/23.

12372 and 12394 were MMCs, again involving the 53 but new to it after retain as part of 12365-12400 which replaced the Gemini 3's.

Both 12283 and 12394 received fire damage in the evening on the 53, the former on 14/07/21 and latter on 11/12/20. Whilst 12372 had it's fire whilst on 122 on 03/11/22.

12283 scrapped as of February 2023.

Go-Ahead London Central E94-99 and London General E100-128:
E128 LX09FCE, Camberwell
E94-99
Registered April 2008 delivered to New Cross (NX) for the contract retain of route 36 which included a PVR increase, which was solved by these buses being the addition to it's allocation. Later in 2018 they would leave for Metrobus, split between Orpington (MB) and Croydon (C) to get rid of Scanias, where they would leave their final moments just like the Scanias, replaced by hybrids by 2022.
E100-128
Registered between June and July 2009, new to Stockwell (SW) for route 345's retain that year. Transferred with the route in 2012 to Camberwell (Q) until 345's loss to Abellio in 2016. Promptly these all moved to Merton (AL) for the uptake of route 57. The 57 then received a frequency decrease in March 2018 which released E127/128 which would be part of the scramble of vehicles allocated for the newly-won 104 in December.
In November 2021 E127/128 were withdrawn from TfL service replaced by EH27/29 released from frequency reductions in the capital.
By mid-2022, E100-109 were withdrawn, E100-103 replaced by spare WHVs, then the rest replaced by more spare hybrids aided by 44's frequency cut.

These were the last Euro 4 Enviro400s (after Metroline's LK59reg) with the Cummins ISBe6.7 (250hp) coupled to a 5-speed ZF Ecomat 5HP504.

Harboring the Cummins ISB6.7EV engine at 250hp in addition to the ZF Ecolife 6HP1203 6-speed gearbox. 10.2m standard length E40Ds.

E129-137: New November 2010 to Stockwell (SW) for route 88's partial new vehicle allocation alongside existing B7TL WVLs. The same allocation of Es/WVLs continued under 87 when 88 received new E40Hs meant for 87. In 2015, one of the routes chosen for conversion to LTs was the 88, which allowed 87 to take back it's rightful hybrids, allowing these diesel Es to be freed.
They transferred to Bexleyheath (BX), being allocated to 132. Some made their way to East London at River Road (RR) for 104.
As of September 2022, E137 has been withdrawn.

Arriva London T118-168:
Harboring the Cummins ISB6.7EV engine at 250hp in addition to the ZF Ecolife 6HP1203 6-speed gearbox. 10.2m standard length E40Ds.

T129 LJ10HVK, Streatham

T118-121 and T122-144
New July/August 2010, to Croydon (TC) for 50 and Thornton Heath (TH) for 250 respectively. By 2012, T118-121 would join the bulk of it's sisters at Thornton Heath (TH) with the following introduction of new school routes 663 and 689 making use of them.

T145-168:
New September 2010 (T162 registered October) to Lea Valley (LV) for the uptake of 341 from First. The buses would move to Tottenham (AR) following the closure of Lea Valley (LV) for redevelopment. In 2016 the 64 would be won from Metrobus which was intended to have buses from 59. Plans changed and these E400s moved over, except for T168 which became a logistical spare at Barking (DX) instead. Following T154's accident (it has it's own entry above), T168 also joined in at Thornton Heath (TH), unrefurbished unlike it's sisters.

T145 LJ60AVR:
T154 LJ60AWC: Scrapped

  3. Found the page useful and interesting.

    Have you mixed up First/Tower Transit 33627/8 as DN33627 was SN11BNX and DN33628 was SN11BMY? Sullivan's E53 is SN11BNX

  7. Re T154 this unit was also involved in an engine fire before the West Croydon incident. Seemed therefore scraping of an unfortunate bus was likely!
